Augustine College students are taught by devout and practicing Christians — both senior academics with many years of teaching and learning behind them and dedicated and carefully chosen younger faculty.
Faculty are chosen on the basis of their ability to teach the key texts and ideas the College is devoted to — texts chosen because concerned to open us to “the path of life”. Students are not hostage to the academic interests of faculty members; rather faculty here are servants dedicated to this overruling purpose of the College.
Because Augustine College is a small, private, not-for-profit college that operates without government support, it operates on a shoe-string budget. As a result our professors are not salaried academics building careers but teachers who teach because they love teaching, out of a deep commitment to the ideals of an education worthy of that name.
