The shield of faith (Eph 6:16) with, at its centre, the cross of Christ (Gal 6:14).
The hart (Ps 42:1) – the desire for God.
The book (Is 55:10-11) – the word that prospers.
The lamp (Ps 119:105) – the word that lights our way.
The quill (Mt 13:52) – scribes trained for the kingdom.
