Nancy received a Ph.D. in Physics and Chemistry (1995) and a B.Sc. in Physics (1987), both from the University of Manitoba, and has published several scientific papers. She spent the past few decades connecting people and ideas while homeschooling her five children, teaching at university, college and elementary school, and writing.
